However, alfredo sauce and grilled chicken really does need the flat fettuccine noodles, and it does make a difference. His chicken was good enough, and the dish tasted pretty good. I fully expected to get fettuccine, and I was very surprised to be served spaghetti alfredo with grilled chicken. I was in there for lunch and ordered a pasta dish. Every order is prepared just for you, and when the place gets full, he gets backed up very fast. If there’s any one thing that’s synonymous with Star Beau’s it got to be that he’s slow. This is a one-man show a sole entrepreneur and restaurateur trying to make a living selling comfort foods. It’s not remarkable in any way, nor has it ever been. It’s always been good enough considering the size of the community it serves. I’ve been in this place a few times over a period of years since it’s opened. I notice no negative reviews at all, and I can say they earned that one meal at a time. I hope they'll be profitable enough to want to remain there for a very extended period. They are a very welcome and needed compliment to a small town that has been largely abandoned by all restaurateurs from a day gone by. The family that moved here to start this place certainly knew what they were doing when they got here. It's the only professionals offering food in Comanche since Jesus was in diapers. I'd recommend them to another just about any time, and I know I'll end up in there again before too long, regardless of how much I'm in a hurry and don't want the fanfare. They outperform every other eatery in this town on all fronts. If you're in Comanche and wanting some place decent to go this is the only choice in town.
Their salads are appealing and beautiful. I've ordered sandwiches and pasta dishes and steaks which I was pleased with, and their French fries are exceptionally crisp and good. I can't complain about the food at all with maybe an exception of too much salt in every dish. I can't visit there without it turning into a visiting session with everyone I've ever known since being hatched. It's the place to see and be seen in this town and it's a personal thing that that's not a selling point for me.

The place offers full table service with courteous well informed servers using nice tableware and fresh, new dining tables and seating. They have a very diverse menu of simple to complex dishes, and their prices are not cheap but they won't break the bank either. This place is the highest class eating this town has seen probably ever. I don't know how they acquired this facility but it was turn key ready to serve food. The owners of the Harvest moved to this city to open a restaurant and pursue a dream. This was once the bank and then the dry cleaners leaving behind a very curious looking vault in the rear corner. Then they opened up a diner which they didn't operate long enough to let the paint dry then closed it again. They certainly put a new face on an eyesore of epic proportions. Well SURPRISE! A previous owner did indeed return the building to usable space along with a couple of spaces next to them. It looked a perfect candidate to be razed, and that nobody would spend what is required to return it to usable.
